For this project, I was tasked with designing a Google Doodle, and I chose to honour Cher Ami, a heroic carrier pigeon who saved the lives of 194 soldiers during World War I by delivering a critical message under harrowing conditions. The doodle features Cher Ami proudly wearing the Croix de Guerre, the medal awarded for his bravery. Red poppies, a symbol of fallen soldiers and wartime valor, frame the scene. A scroll represents the urgent message he carried, while a smaller image of Cher Ami in flight captures the perilous journey he undertook. Together, these elements celebrate his extraordinary courage and sacrifice.
